As the seawater laps up<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Shopping district\u2019s shores,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the mayor explains<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ancient Hermit lores,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As priceless jewels are unmade,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In pools of molten rock,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You see people hurrying to shops<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around the Doomsday Clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

But what is this thing, that people call<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Button\u2019s reincarnation?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, do be patient, and listen to me,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I give the explanation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once upon a time in Hermitcraft<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the Hermits came,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There lived an ancient people,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whose works were now arcane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They had opened up a factory<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For carbonating milk,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using mushrooms from the District,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soft and smooth as silk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As time went by, these people went back<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To there from whence they sailed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In bottles laid MooPOP, the nectarous drink,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ignored and made in vain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The factory was now shabby and old,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crawling with creatures unnamed,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Till the Mayor of the Hermits came,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And had the place remade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then MooPOP was made again,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And sold by Mayor Scar,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But news of this unwantonly reached<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ancient people afar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bravest of these long-lost people<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sailed back to Hermitcraft,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And beside iJevin\u2019s TNT shop,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set up the Doomsday Clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first Hermit to discover this<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multicoloured abomination<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was Mumbo, who himself had made<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A similar-looking creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now Mumbo, being the spoon he is,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Signed up without hesitation,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To what he did not know to be<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plan for the Town Hall\u2019s demolition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following his response, all the other<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hermits signed up too,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though about what it was, none of them knew<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than a thing or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will the ancient people emerge<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victorious over Hermitcraft?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or will they be driven out from the server<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To their homes abroad?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is what remains to be seen,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though I do not worry,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As from what this season has till now been<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will surely be extraordinary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
